It was Laura’s birthday yesterday. She’s 23. We were hoping that she’d call us, but she didn’t. Hopefully she’s alive and will one day decide to get in contact with someone.

Know any long distance truckers?

Hi everyone,
Thank you for checking in. We’ve still been trying to get media coverage and other volunteers to get up flyers.
Does anyone know any long distance truckers that could put up flyers at truck stops, rest stops and give them to other truckers? It seems like a really good resource of people that I don’t know anyone in the business of.
We don’t even know if Laura is still in Florida and she really could be anywhere.
If anyone knows any truckers or has any other ideas on how to get the word out about Laura, Please let me know.

Sorry for not updating for a while. I really have been busy and my laptop bit the dust. Hoepfuly it will be back very soon.
The garage sale turned out wonderful. Both the one in Fruita and the one in Livonia surpassed our imagination and we made a great amount of money and met some very kind wonderful people. We were overwhelmed with the sincere caring they showed for someone that they’ve never met. I was fortunate enough to have stuff left over to donate to Crossroads of Michigan and anything they don’t need will be donated from them to St. Vincent DePaul of Detroit. Rene was also able to donate a whole truckload of garage sale leftovers to her local thrift store. It was amazing.
There has been an article published in the St. Pete Times on June 28. Some of the facts are wrong on it, but hopefully people will see that she is a person that someone is looking for and that she’s loved by many many people.
There hasn’t been any tips or leads from the story so if anyone knows any people in the media, please let me know or send them this site so that hopefully we can get Laura on the news. The more people who see her, the better. She could be anywhere. Please help us find her. We love her and want to just know that she’s alive.

Day 1 of Livonia Garage sale – Amazing!

Thank you all for checking in. I’ve seen that there were tons of hits today. I’m sorry that I didn’t update it earlier. We did amazing today. It blew me away, really.
In just one day we made $187! I couldn’t believe it when I counted it and had to check it a few times.
Thank you all so much!
I can’t wait to see how we do tomorrow. At this rate, we’ll have enough money in no time.

Rene will be having her garage sale this weekend on Saturday June 20th. Her house is in Fruita Colorado.
I will be having a garage sale at my friends house in Livonia Michigan. It will be on Thursday June 18th until Saturday June 20th from 9:00am until 5:00 or 6:00 pm.
So if you’re nearby to either of the garage sales when we’re having them – stop by and say hello and get great deals on things!

Great Time at the Run Drugs Out of Town Run

I’m sorry that I haven’t updated on how the run went, I was taking a day off.
The run was really great and we met so many people that were so understanding and nice. My mom and I were at the booth and saw a few old friends so that was really nice.
We ended up getting donations of a bunch of beautiful flowers from The Village Green Florist in Livonia and Happiness is The Little Flower Shop in Farmington. They were beautiful. The banner was donated by Sign Stuff in Livonia.
It was really a great time! We ended up making $61.

I will be having the second day of the garage sale on Thursday June 11. That’s this Thursday. We have all kinds of great stuff! Lots of size 2 and 4 clothing from brand name stores, tons of purses and shoes and all kinds of weird awesome things!
Stop by and visit or come and shop. All of the proceeds will go to Finding Laura.

3rd Annual Run Drugs Out of Town Run

We were lucky enough to be invited to have a booth at the 3rd annual Run Drugs Out of Town to get donations. It’s this Saturday (June 13). Last year there was about 1000 people in attendance and we will be the only booth selling anything/getting donations. It’s really amazing. We are so thankful to be given this opportunity.
So! Come on over and Run or walk in the run! It’s in Westland, Michigan at Nankin Mills park in Hines Park. Registration on the day of the race starts at 7:00am and the race starts at 9:00am. There’s going to be a band and other family fun activities after the run is done. It should be a blast!
